MARYLIN COVER (serigraph over collage created cover minimagazines)

Artist says “on my experience with people, i could see that in comparation with all Art icons, Vangogh, Picasso, Miró, Leonardo… Marylin is an icon so strong than goes over all periods, religion and cultures, even over andy Warhol who try to use her as art”

the project take her history “always on cover” to first invent new magazine covers with her image, contemporary magazines who bring her to present time, then print an image of a smiling marylin, her first photoshooting when was still Norma Jean, just to put her soul over all the media images.

The composition get finished when all this minimagazines get open and shows inside other covers, just to symbolize the fact than her is still on top of the news.
